Florian Auclair presents his poster "How well can BECCS overcome barriers to enable a large-scale CCS deployment?"
Florian Auclair is a PhD student at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour, as part of the IFP School's CarMa Chair research program. His research activity focus on studying societal issues associated with the possible large deployment of BECCS at horizon 2050. He is temporarily based at the University of Manchester in the research team of Professor Jonatan Pinkse. In Manchester his objective is first to learn about the approach developed by Professor Pinkse and to study the societal aspects of the conversion of the DRAX power plant. This study is based on a series of interviews with the different actors involved in the debate around the transition from coal to biomass of this important power plant.
At this 3rd International Conference on Energy Research and Societal Sciences, Florian presents during a poster session the approach he is working on. (Click here to download Florian's poster).
